Teams choosing to ship should ensure that their robots arrive on OR after April 21, 2023 to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (KBHCC) to avoid a storage fee. All information must be clearly and concisely typed or printed. Freeman will receive shipments at the exhibit facility beginning Monday, April 20, 2023. Shipments arriving before this date may be refused by the facility. Any charges incurred for early freight accepted by the facility will be the responsibility of the Team. Additional Notes and Recommendations

• We encourage using UPS or Federal Express for shipping robots. If you choose to use USPS, please note that participants have reported delayed deliveries or lost robots when using this service.

• Contact your hotel and ask them about their policy for receiving a robot shipment and if they have a pickup location for any shipping vendor, if you choose to schedule a pick up for shipping your robot home after the event.
• We strongly recommend teams add insurance, tracking information, require signatures when shipping your robot, and to check on available times for pickup or drop off of robots/boxes that you are shipping. Also be sure to discuss shipping of Li-Ion batteries as well with your preferred shipper.
• Packaging and shipping of the robot is at the full discretion of the team. The REC Foundation, KBHCC, and Freeman are not responsible for damages that may occur during shipment.
