The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation seeks to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by engaging students in hands-on, sustainable and affordable curriculum-based robotics engineering programs.

We are excited to work with more than 80 universities, colleges, and organizations who offer scholarship opportunities to students who compete in our programs. The REC Foundation encourages every student to continue their education and pursue careers in STEM related fields.

High School Juniors and Seniors who are in attendance at the VEX World Championship that are interested in attending Missouri University of Science and Technology will be able to apply for this scholarship at their booth in College Row.
This scholarship may be used to study engineering at any accredited technical college or university in the United States. The goal of this scholarship is to bring an awareness of fluid power options in robotics to high school students and to stimulate increased use of fluid power products in these competitions.
The REC Foundation is proud to partner with The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) in support of robotics programs for students in the United States. North Dakota State College of Science offers 20 renewable scholarships. Applicants must enroll in one of 18 eligible NDSCS STEM Programs and have a high school or college GPA greater than 3.0 and an ACT Score greater than 24 for liberal arts programs or 22 for selected STEM Programs. Award varies, with a maximum $10,000/year.
